Dear Brethren,
My Fraternal Greetings to One & All.
It gives me immense pleasure to extend my warm wishes to all of you on the occasion of our Half-Yearly Meeting being held at Ranchi on the 6th and 7th of September 2025. This gathering is an opportunity for us to reflect on our collective progress, renew our bonds of brotherhood, and rededicate ourselves to the high ideals of Freemasonry. The first half of this year has seen encouraging participation across the Region, and I commend each one for your continued commitment to our Craft and its noble values.
Several Craft Lodges which had been lying dormant for several years have been revived, including Lodge Pratap Chunder, Lodge Sunut, Lodge True Brotherhood in Kolkata, Lodge Tata in Jamshedpur. In the higher degrees, Mark Lodge Sudhnashu Sen & Chapter Kashi in Faizabad, Mark Lodge Lions of Easter India in Gorakhpur, Chapter Mount Everest & Mark Lodge Dilip Basu in Kolkata have also been revived.
Universal Brotherhood Day was celebrated in various centres and various forums. In Kolkata the Region has also taken up the vision of our Grand Master to Make Masonry Visible by holding a small get together with Rotarians and introducing them to the concept of Masonry along with a Temple visit.
All this has been possible only because of the active participation of the Brethren of our Region and I thank you all for all the efforts that have been put in and exhort you to greater efforts so that Masonry will be taken to greater heights in our Region.
Let this meeting not only be a forum for administrative review but also a celebration of unity, harmony, and the enduring light of Masonic principles. I urge every Brother to actively participate, share insights, and carry forward the spirit of fellowship and learning.
I thank the Brethren of Ranchi for their dedicated efforts in organizing this important event, and I look forward to fruitful deliberations and fraternal interactions.
